All financial activities of the University are conducted by the office to the Director (Finance & Accounts). Information regarding financial matters of the University is given to the Honorable Vice Chancellor through Treasurer by the Director (Finance & Accounts). Director Finance & Accounts acts as a member-secretary of the Finance committee. It is the duty of Director (F&A) office to perform all kinds of financial transaction and to keep their accounts properly.

 

Major activities of the Director (Finance & Accounts) office:-

Ensures the proper use of funds of the University complying with set rules and regulations and keep all the accounts of them.
Ensures the investment of pension fund Provident fund, Benevolent Fund etc. of theUniversity.
Determines the demand of the revenue budget of the University and takes measures for getting sufficient fund by making contact with the UGC.
Controls the different head of expenditure with the approved budget.
Prepares financial reports and other related statements for submitting to the UGC and the Govt. offices as per their requirements.
Makes arrangement for paying the salary and outstanding bills of the teachers/officer’s and employees.
Makes arrangement for paying the bills of contractors, suppliers etc. and deposit VAT and Taxes to the Govt. treasury deducted from their bills.
Collects the fees and other dues from the students and disburse their scholarship/stipend, internship that received from Govt. /Private Organizations.
Collect miscellaneous income of the University like house rent, electricity bill, animal pathology & CS test fee, treatment fee, feed analysis fee, operation fee, and sale value from milk & miscellaneous auction etc. and keep their accounts.
