Issue and renewal of Library materials

Reservation:

A user may reserve a book which is out on loan to ensure that he/she gets the item when it is returned.

User Education:

The library also provides a variety of user education programs to enable users to utilize the library to its maximum potential. The programs educate the users on the techniques of searching for information from abstracts, indexes, databases and other information sources.

Library orientation:

The library orientation programs help to familiarize new students with the services and facilities available in the library. These are usually conducted for the newly enrolled students at the beginning of their new academic session.

About Digital Services:

As an effort to deliver a wide spectrum of excellent services, Digital Services exploit the potential of technology by providing intellectual, virtual access to digital collection for Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University Library members. Accessible at anytime anywhere via Library homepage, Digital Services cover materials originated both in print and non print format. Many of these services are accessible to all library users.

Computer Lab:

We already set a computer lab at the 1st floor of the library building equipped with fifteen computers. The users of the library may have the facility of internet browsing as well as e-information service through this lab.

Library Hours:

The CVASU Central Library is open on all working days except during declared public and weekly holidays. Library opening hours for readers are as follows:
